Order Management

ASPone’s Order Management solutions include direct Exchange connectivity interfaces for access to Retail Service Providers (RSPs) to a fully featured Order Management System (OMS).

System Components

Supporting Market Data: the OMS can receive market data from any service for which ASPone have developed a feed handler. This includes most of the composite quote vendor feeds available in the market today.

Bulk Loader: the bulk loader is a simple API designed to allow multiple trades to be uploaded to the system from an existing system or strategy engine for immediate distribution.

Order Entry Terminal: the Order Entry Terminal receives and displays market data quotes and supports the display of additional security information in an embedded browser window. Incoming data can be sorted and messages filtered based on security, account name, order type and a variety of other metrics. An order entry screen allows orders to be quickly entered and sent to the venue/broker of choice. Additional information pertaining to open orders, FIX messages etc is displayed in a tabbed format within the container.

Order Routing System: the MTS (also called Order Routing Server) is the heart of the platform. It receives commands from various entry points (such as Order Entry Screens, Order Loaders, or the Strategy Agent) and routes them to the appropriate destination. The ORS receives the reply from the counter-party (broker, exchange, etc) and forwards it to the client that issued the original order.

Strategies: the Strategy Agent provides a standalone environment for running strategies. It can run multiple strategies at once, or you can have multiple instances of Strategy Agent running at the same time. Strategy Module is the container for running strategies that can interact with both market data and complex event processing engines.

Tradebase: tradebase is a web-based reporting application for all of your trading activity. It can be used to view, create and modify positions, trades, accounts and equities. Tradebase can be accessed from a stand-alone web browser or directly from within the order entry terminal. Tradebase supports the following display types:

Exchange/Broker Connections: ASPone have developed interfaces to a number of Exchanges and Executing brokers and can provide these as part of any OMS or Exchange connectivity solution. For those clients who already have an OMS or Order GUI, ASPone can provide an Exchange/Broker connectivity interface capable of operating in isolation of the rest of the OMS components.
